Job Description

We are looking for an experienced information technology management professional, based in Hong Kong, to join our dynamic and multi-cultural team to support our regional business.  This role will be responsible to drive the technology strategy and support for the entire Asia region. You will be working with key stakeholders of the organization and act as the main point of contact for all technology matters across the region. 

Responsibilities: 

  1. Maintain organization's effectiveness and efficiency by defining, delivering, and supporting implementation of information technology solutions.
  2. Manage the development, deployment, monitoring, maintenance, upgrade, and support of all IT systems across the region, including servers, desktops/laptops, operating systems, software applications, peripherals, and telecommunications. 
  3. Support IT strategic and tactical planning on technology standardization and modernization.  Manage the implementation of new ideas and changing priorities effectively. 
  4. Achieve service excellence by leading the Service Desk operation and service delivery channel for business users. 
  5. Recommend information technology strategies, policies, and procedures by evaluating organization outcomes, identifying problems, evaluating trends, and anticipating requirements. 
  6. Accomplish financial objectives by forecasting requirements, preparing annual budget, and scheduling expenditures. 
  7. Serve as the trusted advisor to senior management on all technological matters.  
  8. Manage the Asia IT team by planning, monitoring, appraising, coaching, counseling, and disciplining team members. 
  9. Build and maintain relationships with the Business Users, Executive Management, Group IT Teams in Europe (Switzerland and Sweden), and external service providers. 
  10. Perform other activities and duties as assigned.

Requirements:

  1. Degree in Information Management, Computer Science, or equivalent. 
  2. 3 to 5 years of relevant experience in IT management level supporting application and infrastructure services across Asia region. 
  3. Certification in ITIL® and PMP®, and experience in all phases of Systems Development Life Cycle (SDLC).
  4. Broad knowledge of information technology processing systems, concepts, and methodologies.  Demonstrate aptitude for learning new technologies. 
  5. Familiar with the following technologies and platforms:
    • Microsoft Dynamics AX ERP software products
    • Microsoft .NET technologies (ASP.NET/C#)
    • Microsoft SQL Server, including SSRS and SSIS
    • Microsoft SharePoint 2013
    • Microsoft Windows server operating systems, messaging (Exchange), web proxy, TCP/IP, DHCP, DNS, Active Directory, and Remote Desktop Services
    • Networking technologies including LAN/WAN equipment, Cisco switches, routers, wireless infrastructure and Riverbed WAN acceleration devices
    • Virtualization technology (e.g. VMware vSphere)
    • DELL and HP Server and Storage infrastructure
  6. Knowledgeable in supply chain processes.
