The Role

Principle accountabilities:

• Create and develop new tools/techniques/methodologies to enhance business reporting

• Prepare reports for financial, quality, production, customer service and operational efficiency. Report this

information monthly or as needed

• Act as a business partner with Site Management team to support with financial data request, collect relevant

information for reporting and analysis and provide concise commentary

• Provide necessary finance related training to subordinates and/or other colleagues in the business to

enhance a better understand of the business processes and procedures

• Work with the finance department to implement and apply costing accounting policies and procedures as

they are derived

• Develops financial analysis model for capital expenditure approval

• Assists the business to document the business case for change to determine commercial drivers and

expected outcomes.

The Individual (skills, behaviours and personal attributes)

University graduate in Accounting and Qualified member of HKICPA/CIMA or equivalent, solid experience within a Business Analysis role in a sizable MNC manufacturing environment. A flexible approach and ability to travel is necessary and attention to detail and a logical approach are vital as is the ability to interpret and understand processes.

Essential skills include:

• Proven experience in business reporting and cost analysis in a sizable MNC manufacturing

environment

• Exposure to manufacturing departments/staff/activities, cost accounting, reporting and variance analysis

• Experienced in developing new business and financial modeling is an advantage

• Strong analytical & numerical skills, detail-oriented sense, self-motivated and good Interpersonal skills

• Must be able to work well under pressure and manage multiple projects at a time

• Excellent command of both written and spoken English, Canontese and Mandarin

• High level proficiency using Excel and PowerPoint skills

• Frequent travelling to Shenzhen
