Network Consultant

Responsibilities:

• Provides technical support to investigate and resolve complex service requests and issues to meet service level agreements as required by the business

• Perform complex upgrades, builds and migrations according to build documents

• Installs software to manage networks / firewalls / proxies for production , development, and disaster recovery environments

• Protects network equipments from unauthorized access or accidental loss by implementing and enforcing appropriate backup strategies and data security procedures

• Performs tuning to improve the efficiency and maximize the availability of network environments • Conducts tests in standard DRP exercises

• Creates and administrative the monitoring and automation of administrative tasks

• Provides emergency on-site support and coordination as required to geographical supported locations in accordance with service level agreements

• Prepares administration instructions for network equipments and related admin / monitoring software

• Ensures that the information security policy is considered and always followed; recommends changes to policy and ensures that approved policy changes are documented

Qualifications:

• U Grad, CCNA preferred • 3 – 4 years hands on experience

• Knowledge / Competencies of Cisco routers / switches / wifi / IP phone, Firewall Juniper / Fortinet

• Required of Nagios, Solarwinds or equivalent monitoring tools, IGRP / EIGRP routing protocol, MPLS

• Languages: Cantonese and English
