The Job:

The successful incumbent will be responsible for the administration of the scaling and commercialization of the Sustainable Development Fund portfolio companies through:

• Regular interaction with the portfolio companies, active and detailed monitoring of operational and financial performance to provide regular updates and reports on the performance and progress of portfolio companies to the Sustainable Development Fund and Investment Committee;
• Making timely recommendations regarding further investment in the existing portfolio companies;
• Monitoring investments and market conditions and opportunities for exit;
• Liaising with the appropriate Swire group operating companies who are able to benefit from supporting the development of the applicable new technologies;
• Adding value to portfolio companies through other means whenever possible.

He/she will also provide assistance in the identification and evaluation/valuation of potential target companies.

Requirements:

• University degree or professional qualification in the discipline of Finance, Economics or Science
• Minimum 6 years’ relevant experience, with knowledge in financial modeling a plus
• Analytical, confident, intellectual and strong business acumen
• Effectively and efficiently handle a large amount of information and data, and be able to read and interpret financial and legal documents
• Excellent communication skills, and be able to interact constructively with the investment portfolio companies and Swire group operating companies
