He/she will be reporting directly to the Senior Vice President & General Manager in Hong Kong with the following responsibilities & requirements:

Responsibilities:

• Supervise the quality team and develop quality criteria/procedures of new products, with new product development team/product managers, and to ensure that the inspection team follows the proper procedures of quality control with close cooperation with supply chain team
• Lead a quality management mechanism with QA program and report to review the performance of the vendors
• Lead and drive for the conclusive results of root cause analysis and corrective action, with product and new product development teams
• Oversee appropriate quality control including local factory and 3rd party product testing to ensure product standards and overall item regulatory compliance.
• Familiar with major retailers requirements in North America/Europe market for Office/School products, Lawn and Garden Products, Fishing tools, Hardware tools and First Aid products.
• Train and develop the teammates of quality team
• Assist in any ad-hoc duty when required
  
  
  

Requirements:

• Bachelor Degree in quality, industrial, mechanical engineering or related discipline
• At least 8 years of experience in quality assurance and technical management
• Experience in European Safety Requirements (DIN), UL, BS, CE international safety standard operation and document control will be an advantage
• Demonstrate the key competencies like strong leadership skills, independent, strong analytical mind, mature, tactful, good interpersonal communications skills, good problem solving skills and good sense of priorities
• Fluent in spoken and written English & Mandarin
• Willingness to travel and work in a global team set up
• Good track record on quality assurance and control, ability to deliver the results
