As a SALES DIRECTOR, you will need to work independently to drive a culture of sales eminence and demonstrate delivery of client value. You will present the value proposition of the product to your clients and achieve your sales target. You will be responsible for coming up with sales tactic to different industries of client base and generate leads for the sales pipeline. Potentially you will have to train the users to know how to use our products and services respectively.

Responsibilities:

You will manage sales activities by ensuring client commitment, build momentum and accelerate sales cycle. You will also identify and develop selected channel partners from the market to enhance our coverage and support services to various identified vertical industries. Work through sales process with key players to minimize issues in the close of an order and ensure client objectives are met in the agreed time frame. Direct and coach appointed partners to sell the complex solutions into selected accounts.

You will have at least 10 years of solution selling experience and 5 years of channel management experience. Familiar with hardware, software, professional services and technical services. You will map out the key players in the account list and determine sales implementation strategy. You will have the knowledge across Business Intelligence, Data warehousing and CRM is a plus. Demonstrated success in building, elevating and nurturing relationships within key accounts/ channel partner network resulting in increased revenue growth. Experience in selling to industries like Utilities, and Public sector will be a good advantage. Ability in selling and articulating solution sales and deliver on target.

You are responsible for monitoring sales pipeline and prioritize customer engagements, with regular updates to line manager. You will also manage, coach and mentor technical sales engineer to coordinate sales business in the development and implementation. Develop existing clients and hunt for new opportunities to exceed target, undertake client seminars to large groups through excellent verbal, written and presentation skills. More importantly, you will ensure the team adherence and accuracy to make sure the CRM system, workflow system go smoothly.

You will be responsible for maintaining an exceptional service experience for global customers and provide leadership to team of customer care consultants, ensure they are inspired, engaged and motivated. You will manage and prioritize workload and ensure KPIs are achieved on daily and weekly basis. Work with Learning and Development partner to identify development opportunities, talent mapping, build robust succession plans to ensure retention of talented team members. Deliver new business, technical enhancements and new working process. You will proactively identify opportunities, demonstrating strong commercial awareness, ensuring luxury experience for the customer at every touch point along the journey.

Requirement:

  • To identify business opportunity and develop sales strategies

  • To qualify, you will have at least 10 + years in IT sales industry

  • excellent communication, and interpersonal skills

  • Must be self driven, energetic, resourceful and creative

  • To have similar experience in the field, it will be a plus if you have experience in networking, disaster recovery, cloud service, storage technology, mobile app experience, or a dynamic background of working for a start up firm in the past.

  • Develop new and existing business

  • Generate new revenue from customers to meet an annual sales quota assigned

  • Manage customer relationships to ensure customer satisfaction in order to increase sales revenue

  • Manage key accounts and develop long term business relationship with customers

  • Achieve individual and team sales quota and company's goal and objectives

  • Maintain and develop a good understanding on the market trends, needs and potential business opportunities

  • Co-ordinate the pre-sales resources and work with them to develop sales winning proposal

  • Prepare sales tender to pitch opportunities

  • Increase the market exposure and provide the management on new business insight and business opportunities

  • Strong network and connection in the local market, preferably for those with specific domain network in the      Government/Utilities/Channels etc..

  • Solid experience in selling and managing multi-million USD deals

  • Able to engage customers in management/CEO Level

  • Aggressively generate and pursue sales leads to meet or exceed sales target assigned.

  • Manage all stages of the sales cycle including developing leads through cold-calling, qualifying prospects, customized     proposal development, contract negotiation, and project implementation

  • Oversee the interworking among various post-sales support functions to ensure delivery of results and customer experience.

  • Devise and execute strategic account plans to deepen account share and relationship with major accounts.

  • Deliver formal customer presentations, Write and present customer proposals, Able to deliver professional sales      presentation, proposals and reports
