Job Description

OVERALL PURPOSE OF THE JOB:  

Build awareness of Christie’s capabilities via various marketing communications channels. Assist Head of Marketing to develop and manage the execution of various marketing strategies to support regional business getting, auctions pre-sale / post-sale activities, and strengthen Christie’s Business Development in the region. 

 

Key Responsibilities (Duties include but are not limited to the following)

  • Marketing lead to Asia-based social media platforms with focus on WeChat. Develop, communicate and coordinate social media content with internal business partners as according to the marketing calendar.
  • Partner with global social media team to develop strategy to support various business initiatives in the region.
  • Development, drafting and production of marketing materials incl. e-Newsletter, capability brochures, presentations, event invitations, client collaterals and web content.
  • Provide Business Development and specialist departments with appropriate marketing plans based on the regional marketing strategy, to support their objectives and targets.
  • Create and execute tailored marketing communications plans in support of central marketing initiatives.
  • Input into video and other digital channels – partner with specialists to develop key messages and scripts where relevant.
  • Manage production of campaign effectiveness reports for each campaign and assess against goals (ROI, KPIs).
  • Utilize analytic tools to track and evaluate performance of individual initiatives and overall regional success.

Skills/Competencies Required:

  • 5+ years (min) marketing and communications experience in APAC with leading international organisations.
  • Solid experience marketing to HNW / UHNW client segments.
  • Demonstrated expertise in written communications with digital / social media experience desired.
  • Excellent project management skills – proven ability to manage multiple tasks and deliverables to strict deadlines without sacrificing quality.
  • Understanding of the intersection of digital, social and traditional marketing.
  • Outstanding interpersonal skills, ability to work across different audiences, personalities and experience levels.
  • Strong analytical capabilities and experience using a wide variety of analytic tools, incl. using market research and data analysis to inform the formulation of marketing communication strategies.
  • Knowledge of digital analytics tools desirable (e.g., Google Analytics, NetInsight, Omniture, WebTrends).
  • Degree in Marketing, Business Management or relevant subjects.
  • Excellent English and Chinese language skills (verbal & written) essential.
  • Team player attitude and will thrive in a high delivery and performance driven environment.
