DETAILS OF FUNCTION:

• Establishes, develops and maintains business relationships with current customers and prospective customers in Hong Kong as well as South East Asian market to generate new business for the organization.
• Makes telephone calls, in-person visits and presentations to existing and prospective customers.
• Understands customers’ needs (both implicit and explicit) and translates them into customized gift solutions.
• Brings a creative input in terms of product shapes, materials and colors to fit customer’s needs.
• Coordinates directly with factories during product development phase.
• Follows up orders (keep track of the production status, chase customers for validation at the different stages of the production, coordinate logistic, chase customers for payment).
• Researches sources for developing prospective customers and for information to determine their potential.
• Supplies management with oral and written reports on customer needs, problems, interests, competitive activities, and potential for new products and services.
• Supplies management with reporting on a monthly bases of sales activities and evolution of turnover
• Keeps abreast of competitive activities and promotional trends through the monitoring of promotional activities in relevant outlets.
  
  

QUALIFICATIONS:

• Must possess at least 2 years’ experience as sales assistant or sales manager, preferably in the promotion sector.
• Demonstrated aptitude for problem-solving.
• Ability to determine solutions for customers.
• Must be results-oriented with a taste for challenges and negotiation.
• Ability to work both independently and within a team environment.
• Must possess excellent verbal and written communication skills and a well groomed appearance is required.
• Fluent English writing and speaking is mandatory. French and Mandarin languages are a big advantage.
