Business Development Executive - Shanghai

UNStudio is currently looking for a Business Development Executive to join our Shanghai office:

Responsibilities:

• Discover and develop business opportunities in the China, Hong Kong, and Asia region
• Track, investigate, and analyze industry trends and market research, with emphasis on the Asian market
• Develop long and short-term acquisition goals and objectives
• Prepare fee proposals, tenders, grant applications, business plans and RFP's
• Manage BD requests/communication with potential and return clients
• Assist in maintaining a clear overview of business related inquires
• Assist with client visits, and fee and contract negotiations in China and Asian Regions
• Assist the Directors/Associate Directors by preparing customized presentations for potential clients
• Maintain and update Chinese and English BD material   
• Maintain and search UNStudio's media outlets for PR and communication, and optimize publication opportunities for UNStudio in Asia
• Coordinate with clients, consultants, and other collaborators on project-related contractual issues  

   Qualifications: 

• Bachelors / Masters / MBA degree in International Business, Real Estate, Design, Communications or equivalent
• 3+ years proven international experience in Business Development in real estate, architecture, or other creative industries
• Excellent command of both written & oral English and Mandarin; additional fluency in Cantonese is strongly preferred
• Excellent communication and coordination skills, with a strong team player mentality
• Works with a high attention to detail and a sense of responsibility
• Professional, efficient, and extremely diligent
• Highly developed skills in marketing and client communication
• Interested in growing professionally through a hands-on approach
• Self-disciplined and confident in a complex international environment
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office, Adobe Acrobat Professional, Adobe InDesign, etc
