Responsibilities

• Assist in identifying and provide recommendation of current operation project
• Comment on the project performance in the expansion and management of the planning team
• Reviewing and assessing information & business proposal for evaluating M&A & PE investment opportunities;
• Identifying business opportunities and assisting Principal in structuring and negotiating terms on potential transactions;
• Provide support in business development, deal/project origination, evaluation and execution by conducting business/market/industry/company research, performing business/fundamental/financial analysis, preparing financial models and projections
• Lead and undertake research and analysis, develop financial models, perform valuation and financial analyses, legal analysis and operating environment analysis and prepare pitch books and proposals to evaluate the merits and risks of a transaction 
• Providing full range of legal support to the Department
• Experiences in tax compliance and consulting of difference countries
• Provide tax advice on set up of overseas entities
• Handling any other ad hoc assignments

Requirements

• Degree holder or above and / or with additional professional qualifications in Accountancy or Law
• Minimum 7 years’ post qualification experience in general commercial / corporate law gained from a leading law firm, corporate finance, corporate/ investment banking or investments
• Strong corporate finance knowledge and excellent exposure in a variety of M&A works
• Experience in M&A, DD & PE investment
• Responsive and sensitive to both business and legal issues
• Able to comprehend complex legal questions and/or material
• Excellent written and spoken English and Chinese, Mandarin is an advantage
