Responsibilities:-

• Coordinate with customers to confirm product specification, feasibility and technical enquiry of the design
• Perform schematic diagram drafting, PCB layout and bonding diagram drafting and LCD drawing
• Software evaluation and testing
• Samples building and testing
• Technical specification drafting and verification
• Project schedules follow up with software and Mechanical Engineer
• Coordinate with internal departments to discuss customer’s requests and all the technical issues included PCB, PCBA, testing protocol, jig and fixture build and tooling issues
• Ensure the issues of vendor selection of custom-made parts, reliability, safety requirements, manufacturing process, functionality and tooling cost to meet the product specification
• Bill of Material preparation
• Provide technical support to purchasing department for alternative component selection
• Follow up the new parts approval (PCB, wire harness, electronics components, etc.)
• Follow up pilot run and mass production in China factory or suppliers
• Build functional tester according to customer's testing requirements
• Provide support to Production and Quality Department for smooth production

Requirements:-

• Higher Diploma or Degree in Electronic Engineering or related Discipline
• 5 years or more solid experience in MCU related product
• 3 years or above in project handling experience
• Good knowledge in electronics component specification and electronics component sourcing
• Good knowledge in trouble shooting for RMA and production defects
• Good experience in functional tester set-up and monitoring the progress of functional testers built in suppliers
• Good knowledge of PCB design
• Good knowledge in circuit design
• Good experience in BOM / ERP system
• Self-initiated, innovative, energetic, result-oriented, able to work under pressure and have good analytical skill
• PC software programming is an advantage
• Fluent in English, Mandarin and Cantonese
• Frequent travel between HK and Shenzhen
• 5.5 days a week
