PRIMARY FUNCTION/POSITION SUMMARY:

Based in Hong Kong, the Web Producer is responsible for the creative execution and development of online experiences as well as publishing all site content  in support of our Asia-based auctions, exhibitions and events The Web Producer’s core function will be to publish content and develop web pages for our Traditional and Simplified Chinese websites using Site Core, our content management platform.

ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS (Duties include but are not limited to the following):

• Work in close cooperation with the New York-based Digital Media Group, Christie’s Global and Hong Kong Marketing , Specialist Departments, Editorial, and Special Events teams to plan and execute Digital Media-driven projects and promotions.
• Responsible for the design, maintenance, and enhancement of Christie’s Chinese website in both Traditional and Simplified Chinese.
• Assist with designing and building Marketing emails and updating the digital
• Manage content updates for Christie’s Art Forum events portal and digital signage
• Manage content updates for Hong Kong’s online sales
• Assist mobile site development project for Asia and perform testing for mobile site experiences
• Coordinate with key stakeholders to deliver online content including: department descriptions, specialist profiles, sale promotions, original local content and article and video features while ensuring that all web materials adhere to style and design guidelines
• Execute interactive and creative visions as they pertain to programs and projects, while devising and implementing high quality customer experiences for online applications.  
• Perform routine site testing to ensure all data is accurate while maintaining a high quality user experience and providing technical support as required.
• Support project implementation including content editing, production, bug and browser testing and technical resolution
• Guide and ensure consistency throughout the site by maintaining corporate brand and quality standards, monitoring internal/external resources, and serving as inspiration to the direction of the unit.
• Coordinate with different local and international stakeholders to ensure customer experience requirements are identified and documented.
• Enhance awareness of the site, both internally and externally.
• Manage multiple projects and resolve shifting priorities throughout project lifecycle.

QUALIFICATION & REQUIREMENTS:

• Bachelor’s degree in related field
• Experience using Content Management platforms; Sitecore experience a plus
• 3-4 years of Web production experience, with expertise in HTML/CSS
• Spoken/Written fluency in both Traditional and Simplified Chinese and English
• A strong command of Web standards, cross-browser compatibility, operating systems, and various Web-related optimization techniques
• Proficiency in Flash, Photoshop and experience carrying PSDs to full production
• Proficiency using JavaScript, specifically JQuery libraries
• Familiarity with Analytic platforms such as Adobe SiteCatalyst and Google Analytics.
• Familiarity with internet practices in mainland China
