This is a central role in the Production team that ensures compliance for all programme content by performing the compliance procedures within the scope of regional broadcast regulations for ITV’s International Channels.

You will be responsible for completing full compliance procedures from script checks, programme viewing, logging, editing, to versioning complied media. You must be proficient and confident in editing long form content, familiar with compliance requirements and experienced in using creative and technical solutions to create the best editorial results.

This is expected to be a 10-15 days per month commitment. We need a self-motivated editor who is passionate about the television industry with these desired skills / experience:

• At least 4 years relevant experience in video editing, ideally in the Television industry
• Expert knowledge and experience with Avid Media Composer
• Experience with other media related software, including Final Cut Pro and Compressor
• A solid understanding of production systems, technical standards and processes for broadcast operations
• Experience of long form programme editing
• Proven ability to perform content edits using filters, masking, and audio tools in a timely and creative manner
• Knowledge of multiple file format imports, conversion, and deliveries
• Strong attention to detail, proven ability to be accurate and organized
• Fluent in English
• Experience in Compliance Editing is an advantage
• Interest in and experience of UK Drama and Entertainment programmes an advantage
