Job Description

Responsibilities:

  • Develop scope and policies of wholesale business as well as streamline the work processes to better the manpower resource utilization and standards in the sales team
  • Guide the sales team to follow the policy and procedures in performing their sales activities
  • Plan and organize promotion activities with collaboration of brand owners for customer accounts deepening their awareness of wine products features creating sales opportunities
  • Plan and present the product portfolio to customer accounts (current and potential) in line with their annual business plan for business development
  • Reflect market intelligent to buying team to source potential brand of new products for market testing
  • Ensure the readiness of updated market information meeting customer needs in preparing sales proposal to customers
  • Develop effective sales strategies in line with marketing direction to maximize the sales performance of wholesale business
  • Allocate customer accounts to sales team members ensuring the best use of available sales effort
  • Develop network in the industry with the sales team as platform for business opportunities including market and customers
  • Ensure product knowledge transfer to sales team members as well as enhance their account management competencies through on-the-job coaching

 Requirement:

  • 8 years of experience with at least 5 years in managerial position
  • Able to communicate in English, Putonghua and Cantonese
  • Able to build and maintain a positive working relationship with suppliers, fostering trust and respect in achieving desired organization results
  • Able to lead, influence, motivates and negotiate to achieve results
