Responsibilities:

• To assist PD teams in product development through the Sample Co-ordination Committee and regular intefacing with Sales and Yarn departments to understand the needs of our customers
• To highlight the right quality products to individual customers through a good understanding of the needs and anticipated needs of each customer
• To develop professional presentation materials and room setting with products that are right for each customer
• To attend meeting with customers and to conduct trend and product presentations as required and to provide follow up services in product development for customers if necessary
• To work closely with client designers in sample development
• To lead sample sharing sessions for Management, Sales & Yarn departments
• To source new yarn and accessories suppliers, compile references and sourcing data base from shopping trips and yarn shows for sharing with Sales and Yarn departments
• To guide and monitor PD teams to ensure timely delivery of quality samples and swatches to support Sales customers' needs
• To lead the technical team in updating the contents of the Yarn Library and showrooms
• To undertake any other responsibilities as assigned by the Supervisor

Requirements:

• Polytechnic/University graduate in design or related disciplines
• Possess 5-10 years of work experience in knitwear design with sound technical knowledge in yarn and knitwear development, production process, garment construction, technical specifications and currnet finishing techniques
• Experience in fashion merchandising and team management would be an advantage
• A team player with good communication skills and passion for fashion
• Ability to conduct presentations confidently to customers in fluent English
• Ability to manage and lead design teams in serving customers' needs
• Good command of both spoken and written English & Chinese (Cantonese & Putonghua)
• Familiar with Photoshop, Illustrator, PrimaVision/Cadwalk and Microsoft Office application
