Duties:

• Develop ideas for children or parenting publications.
• Review, edit and revise the manuscript for publication.
• Coordinate with designers, illustrators, proofreaders, marketing and production staff to produce a final draft.
•  Manage production schedules.
•  Works with marketing staff on promotional plan for publications.
•  May be assigned the job of new media content management projects, e.g., e-book editing, mobile apps editing, website management, etc.

Requirements:

•  A university degree in Chinese language, English language, journalism or relevant discipline;
•   Teaching experiences in kindergarten or primary school is an advantage;
•   Experiences in digital content management is an advantage.
•   Good command of written and oral English, Cantonese and Putonghua;
•   Good command of Word, Excel, Powerpoint and Chinese Word-processing;
•    Knowledge and an interest in book industry is an advantage;
•    Excellent communication and presentation skills;
•  Ability to work well under pressure and to meet established deadlines.
