Responsibilities

The incumbent will be responsible in supporting business development activities through market research, proposal preparation and client relationship management.

• Conduct comprehensive market, industry and client research and analysis for new business development projects;
• Assist General Manager in preparing business proposals and pitch documents;
• Negotiate purchase arrangement with supplier;
• Support business evaluation and client due diligence processes;
• Perform any other related ad hoc tasks as necessary.

Requirements

• Bachelor Degree in Business Administration or related discipline;
• At least 5 years of relevant experience in international food buying and sourcing of specialized preserved food, such as ham, cheese, caviar, honey, chocolates, etc.;  
• Hands on operational experience in a multi-store food chain is essential;
• Excellent understanding of food import procedures and requirements;
• Excellent command of written and spoken English, other language skill is a plus;
• Multi-task capability and able to cope with short-term demands and travel needs;
• Good analytical, presentation and communication skills;
• Those candidates do not have food buying and sourcing experience will not be considered.
