Responsibilities:

• Reporting to the team head & take an active role in assisting with the daily team operation duties
• Responsible for providing salesman samples comments / inquiries to suppliers and details follow up
• Coordinate closely with Quality Assurance team to ensure the production order quality is up to the required standard and obtain inspection report
• Follow up closely on production schedule and ensure timely delivery
• Act as the bridge between internal European buyers, factories, suppliers and fabric mills in China, Bangladesh and other emerging markets
• Responsible for resolving production problems in a timely and professional manner
• Build up and maintain good relationship with key suppliers to deliver improved supply chain efficiently including greater flexibility, shorter lead times, re-engineering and margin improvements
• Responsible for order placement, calculating price breakdown, price control and order quantity negotiation with suppliers

Requirements:

• College or University graduates, preferably in textile & clothing related disciplines
• Minimum 10 years’ relevant experience in Jersey items is a MUST such as T-shirts, polo shirts, pullover, sweat shirt, etc.
• Experience in dealing with offshore production such as in Bangladesh is highly preferred
• Good communication skill, initiative, well-organized and attentive to details
• Experience in order follow up ranged from sample development to bulk production
• Experience working with European markets and have off-shore exposure especially in China, Bangladesh and other Far East countries
• Ability to resolve production problems
• Energetic and able to work independently
• Proficiency in Excel, Word and Outlook Express
• Good command of written and spoken English and Chinese (fluency in Cantonese and Mandarin)
• Occasional travel to China and other Asian countries is required
