Responsibilities 

• Facilitating the development of intercompany reporting mechanism and interpretation of consolidated financial information.
• Facilitating the development of financial management mechanisms, including but not limited to operation reporting, consolidation, transfer pricing and cost allocation mechanisms etc that minimise financial risk.
• Ensuring company and offshore entities are in compliance with all external reporting requirements.
• Facilitating the communication with auditors and offshore entities to ensure regular monitoring is carried out.
• Keeping abreast of changes in financial regulations and legislation.
• Regularly undertaking audits, involving the examination of the organisation's accounts, analysing risk, inspecting the organisation's current practices, investigating any financial irregularities and recommending improvements.
• Analysing changes and advising accordingly.
• Researching and reporting on factors influencing business performance.
• Analysing competitors and market trends.
• Conducting reviews and evaluations for cost-reduction opportunities.
• Monitoring offshore entities’ performances against business plans and budgets.
• Providing financial advice on new products and investments.

Requirements 

• Degree holder in any disciplines; educational concentration in Finance / Accounting area is preferred.
• CPA or MBA preferred.
• At least 5 years’ of finance experience in multinational firm / CPA firm; overseas compliance exposure would also be considered.
• Experience in projects such as SAP or Oracle system implementation is a plus.
• Have a flare for numbers, work well with people, aggressively anticipate impacts of workload/issues to team deadlines and have a very positive work attitude including willing to work some longer hours during peak periods.
• Experience with SAP/ Oracle Financial Analyzer or equivalent, and Business Intelligence, a plus.
• Ability to interact effectively with senior management and associates at all levels within the organisation
• Legal/ Regulatory knowledge and experience are definite plus.
• Strong business awareness and good analytical skills.
• Proficiency in written & spoken English and Chinese, with good spoken Putonghua is an advantage.
