Responsibilities:

* Assist Executive Pastry Chef in leading a team of skilled bakery staff in the day-to-day kitchen operations and will prepare a variety of high quality Breads and Bakery items.

* Responsible to plan and oversee all Bakery production, to ensure a highest standard in food quality, to control food cost and supervise the bakery kitchen operations.

* Support the culinary team with guidance by successfully applying experience and sound technical knowledge.

* Observe employees performance and identify training needs and execute scheduled training

* Ensure that you have mastered all tasks related to your function and are able to teach this to your employees.

* Perform all duties in accordance with MGM MACAU’s policies and within the realm of MGM MACAU’s Mission Statement.

Requirements:

* At least 10 years of Specialty Bakery Experience including 6 years of high production experience, at least 2 years’ experience as a Sous Chef Baker is required.

* High school diploma or equivalent, with recognized professional culinary qualification is preferred.

* Excellent language skills in English, Mandarin or Cantonese.

* Managerial skills to train, lead and educate a Bakery Production Team.

* Knowledge in PC skills and MS Office Applications.
