Duties and Responsibilities  

• Lead a team of Software Engineers to design and develop IT solutions for our business
• Responsible for the rapid development of business systems and building software solutions for our data center customers
• Provide integrated solutions to work with existing Building Management Systems and data center infrastructure
• Communicate development progress and issues to management
• Provide recommendations on service providers, development tools and procedures to enhance productivity
• Participate in the full lifecycle of application development and implementation
• Design, code and debug applications according to user requirements
• Plan, design and execute test cycles
• Prepare and update project documents

Qualifications

• Proven track record with a minimum of 5 years software/computer engineering experience
• At least two years’ experience leading a development team
• Full lifecycle experience with focus on rapid development
• Has solid experience in web development, database technology and modern software development frameworks
• Working knowledge of RESTful API, MVC model, Django/Python, Ruby on Rails and/or PHP preferred
• Familiar with cloud computing technologies with experience in AWS, OpenStack and/or Windows Azure
• Good at problem-solving, has passion in new technologies, appreciates challenges and works well in a team environment
• Flexible, continuous learner with good communication skills and business sense
