The Events and Marketing Executive, based in Hong Kong, will support the Marketing Department in its daily operations. This is a new role which will be heavily event-orientated, but the incumbent will be required to support managers in other areas of the team such as PR and online marketing.

Events

• Assist in the promotion of the company’s services and products via a range of suitable events; to complement product launches, brand awareness strategies and lead generation initiatives to deliver high quality, sales driven events
• Close collaboration with the company’s CRM database for RSVP management
• Support the logistics arrangements of event materials
• Research and book venues, and co-ordinate with 3^rd party vendors
• Help to keep the event budget updated, ensuring accurate financial record keeping
• Provide post event reports on the outcome of each and every event
• Set up at venues and assistance in managing reception desks when required
• Travel and occasional weekend working for specific events will be required
  

Marcomms

• Support the logistics arrangements of marketing collaterals
• Research market activity and news
• Assist and support any administration duties

Online

• Website content management – editing and creating web pages and using the CMS to update the website. Training will be provided.
• Assist the copywriter with writing online content including market updates and blog postings
• Assist the Digital Marketing Manager with the creation and management of email campaigns
• Management of all social media platforms across LinkedIn, Twitter and Facebook including the CEOs Twitter and LinkedIn accounts
• Use Google Analytics and other analytics tools for reporting on online, eDM and social media campaigns
  
  
  

Requirements:

The ideal candidate will have worked in a fast-paced SME, providing support in many areas of marketing and events. This person must be friendly, confident and able to work under a very deadline-heavy environment, whilst showing the ability to be pro-active. A recent university graduate will be considered at intern level if they can demonstrate their skills and experience.

• Diploma or above in Marketing / Business Management or related field
• 1-2 years experience in marketing / event co-ordination
• Good time management and organisational skills, with the ability to manage details of multiple and complex projects
• Experience in using Dreamweaver, other Adobe Creative Suite/Cloud software would be an advantage
• Excellent communication skills to a variety of customers and vendors
• Fluent in English; Cantonese and Mandarin would be an advantage
