To meet with local business needs, a renowned global FMCG brand is seeking for a high calibre corporate communications professional to join the Corporate Affairs team. 

Reporting to the Director, you will be responsible for cultivating and establishing strong relationship with local media and occasionally regional media. You will be proactively identifying and engaging stakeholders like media, government officials, legislators; providing strategic communications counselling to senior executives; developing and implementing corporate profiling/branding initiatives as well as thought-leadership programmes and etc. Another key focus of the role is to manage reputation risks and develop approaches to mitigate those risks, including recommendation on cross-team collaboration, escalating policy and etc. You will be managing issues and crisis communications, if such arises.  

The ideal candidate should be a Master/Bachelor Degree holder in Journalism/Communications or a related discipline, with at least 10 years of media relations and corporate communications experience. You have proven track record in handling media and issues & crises. You are expected to have good judgement and sensitivity of social-political environment in Hong Kong. Excellent spoken and written English and Chinese (Cantonese) is mandatory. Spoken Mandarin is a plus.
