    A leading USA multinational Fast Moving Consumer Goods company urgently needs an Trade Marketing Manager to join their Hong Kong team. You will lead the trade marketing function independently in terms of direction and strategic planning, as well as A&P ownership. Reporting directly to the department head, you will lead and manage a small team.

    Responsibilities:

    • Work with Marketing and Trade Sales Managers to develop the annual promotion plan
    • Develop and monitor the tactical execution of sales strategies and plans
    • Develop point of sale material for promotional activities
    • Prepare pre and post promotional analysis with recommended next steps
    • Lead trade promotion fund management particularly in the areas of accrual entry, verification, reporting and payment settlement
    • Initiate and lead the development of category management projects
    • Implementation of merchandising strategy in line with category strategies, trends within the trade and sales budgets
    • Assist in the execution of reforms consistent with the aims of ECR
    • Develop and maintain space management resources so as to provide a strategic advantage for category management initiatives
    • Responsible for merchandising team’s management including team’s operation and development plan to support overall merchandising and modern trade channel promotion execution
    • Responsible for merchandiser team’s feedback and coaching and performance review process
    • Maintain the competitive promotional information database
    • Maintain a complete understanding of the dynamics and trends within the categories managed with implication for both brand and sales
    • Represented Trade Sales in developing new product launch related activities and coordinating Post Launch Analysis
    • Develop business reviews and data analysis for internal & external communication
    • Assist in other projects and activities as directed by the trade sales department head
    • Lead the shoppers & retailers related research

     Requirements:

    • Minimum 5 - 7 years' experience in FMCG (sales and /or trade marketing areas).
    • Candidates from Key Accounts and / or Category Buyers will also be considered
    • Degree holder with work experience in MNC will be preferred
    • Independent, self-motivated, detailed oriented as well as strong interpersonal and communication skills
    • Teamwork oriented with excellent analytical and planning skills
    • Fluent in English and Cantonese
