Job Summary

• Work as HR generalist in the HR shared services team implementing regional HR functional objectives including but not limited to Workday, local HR information system (HR21), staff planning & budgeting, performance management and compensation & benefits activities to meet business needs in TLB, ADAMS and Aegon Asia.
• Assist the Associate Director, HR Business Partners, Director, and Head of HR on local and regional HR initiatives and/or special HR projects. Co-ordinate with local HR in different countries to ensure alignment of HR system, policies and practices within the region.

Key responsibilities

• Responsible for the effective execution of HR operations including manpower & salary planning, and performance management in different business units.
• Work in conjunction with HRBP and Head of HR to facilitate and implement HR initiatives/special projects in different business units.
• Work as one of the core members in Asia for the Workday project implementation to ensure smooth payroll, connectivity including data transfer between Workday & local payroll systems, and live run of this new HRIS. Work very closely with local HR and regional HR team in UAT for Workday to ensure the Workday project can be completed on time and run effectively and efficiency within the region.
• Become one of the Workday super-users in the HR team
• Implement change initiatives/special projects to improve HR operation efficiency and performance standards.
• Communicate and local HR to ensure alignment of HR policies and practices within the region and among different business units.
• Provide operation support in C&B admin and advice to internal customers to ensure the delivery of a customer-centric and professional HR services to our staff.
• Assist on recruitment and selection activities as necessary.

Job Requirements

• Minimum 6 years HR generalist/HRIS experience in international companies.
• Previous working experience in financial and/or insurance industry will be an advantage
• Experience in managing HRIS/data migration is a must
• A broad exposure to general HR operations/HRBP including C&B, system, training & development, recruitment & selection and employee relations will be an advantage.
• Minimum 1 year experience at Assistant Manager level
• Solid knowledge in overall HR practices, Hong Kong employment laws and industrial relations
• Detail-oriented with the ability to manage projects from inception to implementation.
• Self-initiative, result-orientated and customer-focused with high level of integrity and professionalism
• Good interpersonal and communication skills
