    We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced committees and communications professional for the role of Committees Manager.

    Candidates with at least 3 years working experience in both Hong Kong and the Mainland would be preferred, and ideally have near native English communications skills as well as fluency in both Cantonese and Mandarin. The candidate must possess a high attention for detail, enthusiasm, a pro-active attitude and the ability to multi-task. Knowledge of the finance and investment industry is a must.

    This position will be responsible for:

    I)           Committees

    • Managing internal committee affairs including liaison with committee chairs on scheduling matters including meetings venues, agenda, minutes taking, catering arrangement and any ad-hoc supports etc.
    • Fulfilling the committee’s missions by playing a supporting role and aassisting to organize committee’s focused gatherings, seminars and events.

    II)          Communication

    • Conducting effective communications and maintained good relations with external parties ( members, non-members, domestic and overseas industry organizations, government agencies and sponsor)
    • Publishing PR materials, including HKVCA’s monthly newsletter, event notice, committees’ column and research journal.

    III)         Membership

    • Assisting in the recruitment of members, generating new leads of prospect members and following up on membership referrals.

    IV)        Sponsorships

    • Preparing event sponsorship proposals and assisting with identifying opportunities for co-operation and co-hosting projects

    V)        Annual General Meeting

    • Driving the Annual General Meeting including supporting the Board’s election, amending the article of association and liaising with corporate legal counsels.

    Candidates with less experience will be considered as Assistant Manager
