    PRINCIPAL DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES:

     

    • The role of the Brand Protection Cyber Analyst (BPCA) is to protect our brands from the illegitimate activity on the internet. Common abuses that we face include, counterfeit goods, misuse of trademark or copyright rights, and product diversion of legitimate goods. The BPCA will be collaborating with team members in management to identify risk and recommend solutions for findings.
    • Identifying, analyzing and categorizing fraudulent websites, this will include the websites that are unauthorized by L Brands to sell our brand name products both genuine and counterfeit; working with supervisor to ensure each incident is properly assigned to the right team members.
    • Assisting in the review, triaging and coordinating of reported information on a daily basis, regularly received from external internet monitoring resources;
    • Researching company photo files, trademarks, and company owned domain sites for proof of alleged infringements;
    • Conducting assessment that determine the risk exposure faced by L Brands.
    • Performing data entry, preparing investigative reports and summaries and documentation of issues to be resolved;
    • Collecting and storing artifacts/exhibits from internet as required for each investigation.
    • Collaborating and actively engaging with other team members to ensure they are kept apprised of any significant changes identified during the investigation of an incident to achieve team objectives and manage projects.

     

    JOB SPECIFICATIONS (e.g. Qualification, Job Experience):

    Minimum Requirements:

    • Strong analytical and communication skills;
    • Experience with using Windows Operating Systems, Computers and the Internet;
    • Attention to detail, and desire to complete work accurately and quickly;
    • Exceptional written/verbal communication and interpersonal skills;
    • Flexible and oriented to change;
    • Associates degree or equivalent experience.

     

    Preferred Requirements:

    • Knowledge of online sales channels and Internet Technologies;
    • Proficient in English and Chinese – Be able to speak, read, write and translate both languages
    • Familiarity with DNS, ISPs, Registrars and IP addressing;
    • Case Management System –ORBIT experience;
    • Mark Monitor experience;
    • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience.
