The Human Resources assistant position is based in Hong Kong, and supports the Human Resources team in its daily operations. This is a newly developed role in order to deliver efficient HR services across several geographies.
- Responsibility for full spectrum of Human Resources functions, including but not limited to recruitment, performance management, and employee relations
- Assist in the development and implementation of Human Resources initiatives in accordance with corporate objectives and standards
- Provide a wide range of operational support to a variety of Human Resources tasks including recruitment, employee services, employee engagement, employee relations compensation and benefits, training and performance management;
- Review and enhance the efficiency of HR processes from time to time
- Provide wide range of operational support to any HR & Admin functions
- Provide and assist office administration support, documents and report filing
- Participate in ad hoc tasks and other HR related projects as assigned
- Assist the team in the implementation of HRIS system
Requirements:
The ideal candidate will have worked in a fast-paced environment, providing support in many areas of Human Resources. This person must be friendly, confident and able to work under a very deadline-heavy environment, whilst showing the ability to be pro-active. A recent university graduate will be considered at intern level if they can demonstrate their skills and experience.
- University degree in Human Resources Management or equivalent
- 2 years’ relevant experience working in a generalist HR environment in a sizeable organization, exposure in sales orientated industries preferred
- Experience of supporting managers across a variety of departments at different levels in all aspects of HR and training
- Experience of recruitment, staff retention and development is desirable
- Task-oriented, attentive to details, well-organized, independent and self-driven
- Good time management and strong organizational skills, with the ability to manage details of multiple and complex projects
- Proficient in Microsoft Office applications
- Team player with excellent communication skills and ability to communicate effectively at different levels
- Fluency in written and spoken English is a must
- Able to work under pressure and deliver consistently
- Innovative and self-motivated; fast learner, takes initiative, and proactive
