The Operation Agent will work within our Travel Operations Department. Highly motivated individual with strong negotiation skills needed to contact our hotel suppliers via phone and email to ensure reservations are honored without any problems per the contracted agreement. Work with the supplier in a professional manner to secure suitable alternative for guests should original property not be able to accept reservation. Qualified candidate must have excellent multi-tasking and organizational skills with a strong sense for detail. Work well under pressure to meet deadlines.

JOB DESCRIPTION

• Contact suppliers via telephone and email to confirm reservations
• Answer inbound calls to assist suppliers with (extranet, reservations, and invoices)
• Read and reply to supplier emails
• Monitor reservation queue for new reservations and action accordingly
• Notate reservation files of all support communication
• Regular, dependable attendance and punctuality.

MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS

• Goal oriented with strong negotiation sense
• Strong multi-tasking and organization skills
• Proficient in spoken and written English (NATIVE FOREIGN LANGUAGES SPEAKERS ARE ALSO WELCOME)
• Must be able to work for weekends and holidays.
