Job Role:

• Provide customer with fixes to their reported issues by applying creative problem-solving techniques to identify the source of problems
• Work with our cloud products with ongoing technology updates
• Install and configure systems for customers as well as propose enhancements where necessary
• Provide implementation and best practice technical advice to customers to meet business needs
• Train junior team members and other departments on product knowledge and support skills
• Work on-call during non-office hours

Requirements:

• Strong troubleshooting skills and ability to quickly learn and work with new systems and infrastructure
• Good written and verbal communication skills
• Strong customer focus and strong sense of business 
• Technical knowledge on the following is of high advantage: 
• Linux and Windows Systems 
• Web Servers such as Apache and Microsoft IIS
• Email servers with knowledge on protocols such as POP3/IMAP and SMTP
• Database technologies such as MySQL, MariaDB, Nosql and Microsoft SQL Server
• Virtualization technologies such as VMware/Xen/KVM
• Microsoft Windows technologies such as Hyper-V, Microsoft Exchange, Microsoft SharePoint
• Network knowledge such as DNS, TCP/IP, switch configuration, load balancer and firewall configuration
• System programming and web programming
