Job Description:

• Leading the Merchandising team in providing professional merchandising for customers
• Manage the team in terms of sourcing, project development and production planning
• Supplier selection in terms of costs, quality, production capacity and delivery reliability
• Development of new ideas of costs optimization
• Order follow up from production to QC and delivery
• Preparing and checking of various order documents ie. Offer sheet, PO, shipping documents, etc
• Liaison with suppliers from product sourcing to negotiation of price and terms
• Constant price and quality comparisons amongst industry players
• Regular sourcing proposal for buyer’s review
• Monitor of market trend for innovative products
• Development of alternative sourcing of top sellers
• Perform other ad hoc duties as required
• Occasional travel to China is required

Requirements:

• 5 - 6 years’ experience in Sourcing/Purchasing for the EU market with an affinity to Home Appliances is a must
• Strong analytical and problem solving skills
• Aggressive, target-driven and can obtain excellent interpersonal & communication skills
• A general knowledge of logistics
• Proficiency with MS Office especially Excel and Word
• Good command of English and Chinese(Mandarin)
• Good understanding of EU standards and regulations concerning product safety
• Less experience will be considered as Assistant Merchandising Manager
