PRINCIPAL DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Support brand protection department, working closely with local government and authorities, enforcement officials and investigation institutions, covering wide range of trade mark and brand protection issues in China region.
• Individual contributor responsible for conducting investigations primarily relating to:
• the sale or creation of counterfeit goods
• trademark infringements and other intellectual property rights violations
• product diversion and/or theft of production from factories
• other investigative work related to compliance or special projects as may be assigned.
• Plans, directs and controls investigations within assigned area.
• Ensure all investigate strategies incorporated in the investigation process are within company guidelines.

JOB SPECIFICATIONS (e.g. Qualification, Job Experience):

• Bachelor's degree preferred
• Two to three years of investigative experience in either loss prevention or law enforcement required
• Ability to gather data, compile facts and interpret results
• Work closely, when required, with company attorneys and government authorities on matters of litigation and criminal enforcement
• Awareness of legal standards within which investigations can be conducted
• Understanding of global compliance issues (OFAC, FCPA, & others)
• Knowledge of international production and sourcing and/or supply chain operations is desirable
• Possess or able to obtain a valid passport and available to travel 30% internationally / 20% domestically
• Proficient in Microsoft Office, knowledge of Crystal Reports system preferred
• Proficient in English as a second language
