    Role Purpose:


    The Supervisor works with the Head of Client Service provide overall administration support to Christie’s Specialist Departments and fosters continuous improvement in Business support and Sale Coordination. Working closely with London and New York Business Support Group, the Supervisor organizes JDE training, monitoring, reviewing operating procedures and scheduling staff. In addition, the Supervisor will act as a central coordinator and problem-solver, facilitating smooth operation of all aspects of the Business Support and Sales Coordination.



    Key Accountabilities:


    Business Support

    • Ensure all Business Support Administrators are effectively managing their respective tasks, meeting service levels within their areas of responsibility, and supporting the Specialist Department Administrators / Cataloguers / Business Coordinators across Asia 
    • Build and maintain strong relationships/communications with Specialist Departments and Supporting Functions 
    • Oversee departmental handling of internal client enquiries across all channels of communication and according to departmental guidelines
    • Work closely with Head of Client Services with clear channels of communication and ensure policy & procedures, standard operating procedures are maintained, updated and communicated to team members 
    • Ensure internal clients receive timely response and identify ways to improve training and enhance best practices 
    • Ensure escalated issues are addressed, provide feedback, and implement process changes as appropriate, in support of Head of Client Services 
    • Strong awareness of overall business activities and ability to communicate relevant information effectively.
    • Oversee the recruitment, training, performance management and scheduling of the Business Support team

    Skills & Experience:

    • BA/BS or minimum 5 years of working experience in Administration and/or client service preferred
    • Confident, positive, dynamic attitude and proven ability to lead by example
    • Ability to work well as a team and promote team effectiveness
    • Ability to problem solve and proactively follow up to ensure issue resolution
    • High degree of organization with ability to multi-task, prioritize, and follow up promptly
    • Willingness to accept assignments with positive attitude
    • Desire to learn and take on new challenges
    • Excellent verbal and written presentation skills
    • Commitment to regular and punctual attendance
    • Flexible working hours when required, including evening and weekend sale coverage
    • Excellent general IT skills and ability to learn all Christie’s systems
    • Fluency in Mandarin and English
