About the Position
Location: ALS Environmental Division (Hong Kong)
Reports to: R&D Manager
Status: Regular Full-time
General Accountability:
The primary purpose of this position is to developing and validating new methods and also improving existing testing methods.
The position will be responsible for:
- Reporting to R&D Managers;
- Developing and validating new methods;
- Existing method improvement;
- Prepare Method validation document and SOP for assessment;
- Provide technical training test to term.
About you
To be successful in this role you will have:
Required Knowledge, Skills & Abilities:
- Minimum 4 years experience in chemical, analytical chemistry or environmental testing;
- Knowledge of ISO 17025, HOKLAS, method validation, measurement uncertainty and accreditation system;
- Familiar with testing instrumental analysis;
- Work & communicate closely with local & International Technical team.
Required Qualifications:
- Degree or above in Applied Chemistry / Analytical Chemistry or related disciplines;
- Environmental laboratory experience preferable but not a must.
