SCHOOL OF CONTINUING EDUCATION

The School of Continuing Education is one of the seven Faculties/Schools of the University and a major provider of continuing and professional education in Hong Kong. The School, together with its College of International Education, offer a wide range of full-time and part-time programmes at the post-secondary, undergraduate and postgraduate levels for young learners and working adults. It also offers in-house training and short courses to meet the community needs and market demands.   Operated on a self-financed basis, the School currently employs about 440 full-time staff and 700 part-time instructors. The School is now inviting applications for the position of Human Resources Officer.

The appointee will be assigned to the Human Resources Section of the School to perform duties including recruitment and appointment, benefits administration, performance planning and review, preparation of staff statistical reports, and arrangement of staff training and development. He/She will also be required to assist in policy review.

Applicants should possess (a) a recognized degree, and preferably a higher degree/professional diploma in human resources management; (b) at least five years of relevant experience; (c) sound analytical and problem solving skills; (d) very good interpersonal and communication skills; and (e) good command of written and spoken English and Chinese, with fluency in Putonghua. Skills in computing applications are also essential.

Shortlisted candidates will be invited to attend a written assessment.

 Salary will be commensurate with qualifications and experience.
