The Role

As the Host at the Hive, you are expected to ensure the daily smooth running of the operation and that the highest level of customer satisfaction is maintained at all times.

Reporting to the Director, the following are key responsibilities of the Hosts:

• Basic receptionist duties; include receiving visitors and guests, handle incoming calls and mail.
• Act as first point of contact for all clients and providing professional and friendly service.
• Ensure that the office and common areas are maintained spotless at all times.
• Coordinate and ensure the smooth running of room bookings and other procedures.
• Provide other secretarial and administration support as required.
• Assist in the running and coordination of events as well as other projects.
• Hosts will also be assigned curator role to head up specific business functions including events, digital marketing, etc.

Requirements:

• Strong sense of responsibilities and details orientation
• Good exposure to multi-cultural / international work environment
• Presentable and with pleasant personalities
• Proven ability as a flexible and adaptable person
• A helpful and intelligent approach to daily challenges
• Familiar with MS Word, Excel and Chinese word processing
• Excellent interpersonal, problem solving and communication skills
• High school certification or above, university degree preferred
• MUST speak fluent English. Cantonese, Mandarin and French an advantage
• Experience in Servicing or Hotel Industry is an advantage
