Job Description

Roles & responsibilities:

  1. Assist in planning, designing, developing and implementing staff relations and welfare policies to align with corporate strategies;
  2. oversee and manage departmental compliance by developing, initiating, maintaining, and revising internal controls, policies and procedures;
  3. plan, execute and maintain the financial and accounting systems of the department by formulating office budgets, supervising and coordinating the expenditures, checking financial statements, and monitoring related operations;
  4. prepare management checklists, administration reports and relevant analyses, interpretation, evaluation and recommendation of appropriate strategies to keep track of the execution of departmental activities; and
  5. provide general administrative support including management of departmental business and supervision of staff.

The ideal candidate should possess:

  1. A recognized degree or equivalent preferably in Administration or related disciplines;
  2. at least Grade D or above in English Language (Syllabus B) and Chinese Language in the HKCEE;
  3.  proficiency in English and Chinese, and preferably Putonghua;
  4. good interpersonal skills; and
  5.  preferably with relevant management experience and skills in drafting administration policy.

Compensation & employment terms:

The successful candidate will initially be offered a 3-year contract with a remuneration package which will commensurate with his/her background and experience.  The continuation of employment and employment terms thereafter will be subject to mutual agreement.  Apart from contributions to the MPF Scheme, other benefits include paid annual leave, medical services, a dental scheme and training sponsorships.  The incumbent will normally work under a 5-day week schedule subject to operational needs and exigencies of the service.
