Tasks and Responsibilities:

• Independently develop assigned styles / collections in cooperation with Design / Product Line Management / Team Head Development / Sourcing BU Manager / other PGS functions and Garment Suppliers.
• Ensure on time sample delivery, good sample quality / execution / fitting.
• Drive proactive cross functional communication with internal and external teams to ensure a smooth product development process.
• Provide inputs / comments / suggestions which help to achieve a higher product value.
• Ensure on-time product finalization and approval (including artwork approvals) prior to bulk order placement.
• Responsible to prepare, maintain and follow up all necessary documents (Style specifications, size tables, fabric and trim selection, fitting and sealing comments).
• Release Tech Packs to Garment Suppliers to start the product development process.
• Ensure on time data administration in PUMA’s Product Range Management system and related IT systems.
• Responsible for cost review and negotiations with Garment Suppliers to achieve best possible FOB prices/margins according to target FOBs provided by the respective PUMA SE Business Unit.
• Activate cost benchmarking activities especially for high volume styles to achieve FOB competitiveness.
• Train, coach and guide Junior Developer to meet all given tasks in the required timeline.
• Support PGS BU manager on allocation process, price negotiation and price meetings.
• Support PGS BU manager with the coordination of seasonal Development Trips.

Things you should bring along / Qualifications:

• Diploma or Degree in Textile / Clothing-related discipline is an advantage
• 4 to 6 years relevant experience in the garment/sportswear industry, ideally on asset business
• Woven and Knitted items experience is a must
• Costing experience would be preferred
• Adobe Illustrator knowledge/experience
• Good internal and external communication skills
