Responsibilities:

Position #1

• Prepare breakdown checklist in accordance with safety standards.
• Assist in management of the laboratory assistant team 
• Provide technical support to colleagues
• Perform equipment maintenance and calibration
• Perform other ad hoc project assigned

Position #2 

• Conduct chemical testing on consumer products
• Assist in R & D testing and method validation
• Operate testing instruments e.g. ICP-OES, ICP-MS, etc
• Perform equipment maintenance and calibration
• Perform other ad hoc project assigned

Requirements:

• Diploma or above in Chemistry or related disciplines
• 2 years working experience or above  in commercial chemical laboratory
• Familiar with toy / textile / food contact item test are preferred
• With hand on experience in operating and routine maintenance of equipment  
• Knowledge of HOKLAS requirements
• Independent, mature, hardworking, self –motivated and willing to work overtime (with OT allowance )
• Good command of both spoken and written English and Chinese
• Immediate available is a definite advantage
• Candidate with less experience will be considered as Assistant Technical Officer
