Job Responsibilities
- Collect, analyze and interpret life, disability and health care data
- Analyze claims, estimate plan costs and develop reports using in-house tools
- Assist with management of employer group benefit plans including: analysis of financial reports and rate setting, negotiating with insurers; review and revision of policy and benefit wording and calculation of cost implications of plan redesign or union negotiating demands
- Develop awareness of life, disability and health care plan design and conduct the renewal and marketing process
- Understand employer HR issues as they relate to benefits
Job Requirements
- BA/BS degree in Mathematics, Statistics or related discipline
- Minimum 1 – 2 years’ experience in flex benefits or broker services
- Strong analytical and mathematical skills;
- Proficient in Excel, Word and PowerPoint
- Good interpersonal and communication skills
- Good command of both English and Chinese (written & oral)
- Ability to prioritize and handle multiple tasks in a demanding work environment
- A team player and also with the ability to work independently
