Job functions:

• Lead and oversee Sourcing and Purchasing teams, optimize the performance and compliance to policy and procedure;
• Prepare and control the budget plans;
• Formulate and responsible for departmental goals that align with company goads
• Analysis and share with the management in regular basis the updated market information and price trend;
• Formulate and execute strategic purchasing and sourcing plans align with the business goals;
• Monitor the vendor’s performance to ensure the fulfillment of safety,  quality, pricing, delivery schedules, commercial terms and other requirements  
• Develop and maintain the long term partnership with vendors, manage vendor selection and evaluation, and improvement initiatives;
• Manage sourcing team to well collaborate with counterpart across the Group to identify the material, component and product needs;
• Develop and execute Continuous Improvement projects and Lean projects like JIT and 5S, etc.  
• Develop and drive the strategic programs such as cost saving initiative, and monitor the execution and goals achievements;
• Perform ad hoc assignment by management

Requirements:

• Bachelor Degree in Procurement, Purchasing, Materials Management, Supply Chain, or related disciplines;
• Over 10 years strategic procurement and sourcing experience preferably gained from multinational or sizeable manufacturing companies with minimum 5 years in managerial position;
• Solid experience in Printing / Paper Products / Toys & Gifts Industry would be an advantage;
• Global sourcing experience and strong experience in managing China vendors
• Strong people management skill and influencing skill;
• Excellent analytical, communication & negotiation skills;
• Good command of written and spoken English, and Chinese/Mandarin;
• Travel is required
• Stationed in Dongguan
