Responsibilities: 

• Conduct general and project specific researches
• Analyse natural resources projects and assess technical data, including charts, tables and computer files (resource model)
• Create, interpret, and analyse advanced technical charts (e.g. MicroMine/ MineSight/CASS, AutoCAD, MAPGIS)
• Independently prepare technical review reports and other technical documents
• Prepare other business documents, presentation materials for both internal and external use
• Supervise site activities such as data verification programs
• Technical support for client pitching, client meeting, and relationship management

Requirements: 

• University graduates in one of the following disciplines
• BSci (geology, earth science or related disciplines);
• BEng (mining engineering or related disciplines); OR
• BCom (finance/accounting/economics) with previous experience in the natural resources industry
• Major in Geoscience, Geotechnical, Geology, Mining Engineering, or Metallurgy is preferred
• Excellent spoken and written English is a must, Good command of Chinese is preferred
• Strong interests in natural resources, experiences in mineral or energy projects is preferred
• Willing to travel
• Familiar with common MS programs, eg. Excel, Word, Powerpoint etc.
• Organized, willing to take challenges, willing to learn and take initiative, independent, enthusiastic, hard-working and motivated
• Great passion for career development in technical consulting in the natural resources industry
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills and able to establish/maintain good relationship with customers
• Ability to communicate and work with other experts and specialists from multiple disciplines and cross-geological locations
