RESPONSIBILITIES :

1.  Managing Accounts Receivable

• To perform proactive and systematic payment collection by review of weekly AR report, sending customer statements of accounts and reminders for payments, following up overdue payments by emails and phone calls
• To periodically update customer payment and overdue accounts positions through AR meetings and discussions with Finance Manager
• To report on potential/problem bad debts
• To assist in tight credit management by constantly reviewing customer payment performance
• To identify and implement effective way to tackle the more problematic customer accounts with continued payment issues

2. Credit management

• To collect and independently review customer credit info for providing proposal on credit terms for new customers
• To timely prepare credit files for periodic review of credit terms of existing customers
• To close monitor credit terms and outstanding/overdue account balances of customers to be alert of and report possible credit issues of problem accounts
• To manage independently daily system-hold of shipments to customers by performing necessary checking on the reasons of the shipment hold, following up with customers for cases of overdue payment issues, and working closely with Logistics and Sales teams to provide the status of shipment release. To report cases of credit-hold when customer payment issues have adversely affected the credit standing of the accounts on consultation with Finance Manager and Sales team

3. Accounting tool management

• To be familiar with and efficiently utilize Collect-iT system and e-invoicing to manage and support the payment collection and invoicing functions

4. Support Finance Manager in the completion of ad hoc tasks and projects

• To assist in the financial audit on AR and relevant functions of the accounting process
• To provide support to ad hoc assignments and projects when necessary

 QUALIFICATION AND REQUIREMENT :

• Diploma / Degree holder in Accounting Studies
• 3 years or above accounting experience in handling Accounts Receivable and related functions and/or General Ledger accounting
• Good communications and interpersonal skills
• Good command of written and spoken English and Mandarin
• Proficiency in PC applications, including MS Office
• With “Can-do“ attitude and willingness and ability to work under pressure
• Immediately available preferred
