My client:

My client has a strong business portfolio worldwide, a conglomerate with fast growing potential, listed and HQ in Hong Kong. They have ongoing M&A activities at present, and would like to continue to drive their pipelines and intake a few more projects if possible in 2015. As a result, they are looking to hire an experienced Finance candidate with good M&A experience in prior, whom also has an all rounded financial reporting duties to join their team. 

Job duties:

You will be responsible to work closely with the senior management, and partner with the business units to work on potential M&A projects. This will be a full spectrum M&A role, where you will be expected to be hands- on from pre-acquisitions to post stage monitoring. Depending on the number of M&A projects in the pipeline, you will also be required to assist the financial reporting team on any management reports, as well as the financial reporting of the business if needed. Traveling frequency pending on the number of M&A projects, can expect 30-40%. 

Requirements: 

You will need to be a degree holder in Finance & Accounting, or other related discipline. You need to be a qualified accountant, with 4+ years of working experience in the commercial sector, ideally from a HK Listed compmany. Big 4 trained candidates will have advantage. Proven experience in managing a small team, working with business partners/ senior management is also essential. Fluent English and Mandarin is important, both spoken and written. Last but not least, years of hands on experience in handling M&A projects, and flexible with traveling.
