Responsibilities

• Perform daily settlement duties including prematching, CCASS movement and settlement of trades in system
• Responsible for performing HK and US securities settlement
• Operate CCASS and upload SI (Instructions) file during the day to ensure settlement of HK equity transactions with Exchange and counterparties before CCASS deadline
• Journal postings and settle trades on internal system
• Interface with local and overseas offices or clients to work out trades discrepancies till resolved
• Liaise with Desks and Middle Office to ensure trades are processed correctly and amended as needed to meet with the record of Exchange executions
• Review reconciliation reports daily to ensure good stock records and cash balances
• Produce outstanding trade report and liaise with Corporate Actions for dividend / re-org entitlements for safekeeping clients.
• Participate in system modification and acceptance testing
• Handle ad hoc projects assigned by management

Requirement

• Fluent in English, Mandarin & Cantonese
• Proficient in MS office applications
• Initiative, self-motivated, efficiency, responsible, pleasant & able to work independently
