We are seeking highly motivated individual for consideration as a Business Development Officer/ Specialist for the China market. This role will be based in Hong Kong but with extensive travel around China.

Responsibilities

• Responsible for dealers, chain stores and key accounts’ recruitment activities
• Explore Events / Tradeshow opportunities to fulfill company’s business expansion plan in China
• Assist and provide onsite support to participated Events and Tradeshows
• Identify and develop new clients and facilitate the whole business development process
• Provide branding, marketing, training and sales administrative support to potential / new customers
• Develop and co-ordinate business development materials
• Achieve revenue, profitability and channels development targets
• Analyze competitive market data to identify trends / opportunities, develop strategic direction from market information and create compelling market analysis presentations for China
• Collaborate and integrate the knowledge and feedback from other departments such as Product Development, Marketing, Sales, Event & Promotion to assure that company is capable of implementing the growth opportunity successfully in China
• Work in close coordination with Hong Kong Head Office’s Branding, Marketing and Design teams for execution of the assignments
• Work closely with China Sales and Sales Administration Team to generate, build, follow up and manage the new business from Hong Kong

Requirements

• At least 3-5 years of sales experience in opening new key accounts/ B2B client.
• Candidates with experience in Appliances / Life Style Products / Consumer Goods with a background in sales / business development is highly preferred
• Experience in managing dealers and retail operation is a plus
• Relevant China experience is a plus
• Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration / Communications / Information Systems / Engineering
• Must be proficient in MS Office especially Excel and PowerPoint
• Knowledge of data base program is an asset
• Must be able to write and type Chinese
• Fluent Mandarin is a plus
