    Role Purpose:

    Responsible for conducting research on the art and auction industries and top collectors in Asia, conducting relevant analyses, and providing key insights, to support Christie’s client coverage and client engagement efforts.

    Key Responsibilities:

    1. Research, Analyses and Data Management

    • Conduct research on the art and auction industries in Asia and collectors in Asia, and draw insights that are relevant to Christie’s client engagement efforts
    • Ensure all relevant client and object information is properly captured in the database, and maintain and update records and databases adhering to corporate framework and guideline
    • Manage top clients and collections lists
    • Debrief business getters to gather client and object information, record meeting minutes and help follow-up on action points
    • Mines data across Christie’s databases, files, and catalogues to support campaigns, consignment and selling efforts
    • Generate client reports for client strategy reviews, business management, and business getters’ trips to develop client and object opportunities as required
    • Provide reporting as required to support the Clients Strategy Director, specialist departments and regional business development 

    2. Sale Support

    • Provide support for sale process from business getting, pre-sale targeting, , and post-sale debriefs and client engagement
    • Conduct research to identify high potential Asian bidders at upcoming global sales, and identify cross-category buying potential
    • Support specialists and business getters in client outreach for sales
    • Prepare post-sale transactions analyses and reports for the Client Strategy Director and ensure they are available in a timely manner
    • Help to organize and conduct regional and post-sale debriefs, and follow up on action points with specialists and business getters
    3. Administration and other departmental support
    • Provides administrative support to Client Strategy Director as required
    • Work with global and departmental Business Intelligence teams on information sharing, identifying cross departmental opportunities and creating and setting best practices to support the business as needed
    • Supports Events Team in managing and compiling Events guest lists

    Requirements:

    • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree from a recognized University
    • 2-3 years working experience in the art, auction, private banking or consulting industries is a plus, but we welcome fresh graduates who demonstrate passion and ability
    • Fluency (spoken and written) in Chinese Mandarin
    • Strong analytical skills, and proficiency in Excel analyses and database management
    • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
    • Attention to detail and ability to prioritise and meet tight deadlines
