    The International Account Manager Aerospace is commercially responsible for Avio-Diepen’ s Key & Major Accounts in Japan, Mainland China, Southeast Asia and various market. Your activities are aimed at obtaining sales opportunities and translating these leads into successful, profitable and sustainable business through customer orders and contracts in alignment with the set sales targets, policies and procedures at Avio‑Diepen.

     Tasks & responsibilities

    • Plan, prioritize and conduct sales activities on customers & prospects towards achieving the assigned business goals by:
      • Selling Avio-Diepen’s product and service portfolio and sales mix (volume, pricing, margins, lead time) in the assigned geographical territory

      • Conducting local sales & marketing activities and integration of personal sales efforts with other organized marketing activities, including product line launches, promotions, exhibitions and trade shows

      • Leading contract negotiations and periodical contract reviews with customers and coordinate contract implementation and evaluation in the internal organization
    • Budget, monitor and regularly report on analysis of sales, market trends, competitor activities and new product line opportunities in the territory 
    • Manage and cooperate with agents in your region

     

    The level of interaction you have with customer stakeholders varies from engineers and buyers to (logistic, procurement and general) managers on the wide variety of Avio-Diepen’s Supply Chain Management services portfolio. You will travel internationally to visit customers. The Account Manager forms a team with the Customer Service colleagues in order to realize your commercial targets.

    Qualifications/Requirements:

    • Bachelor or higher degree of technical/commercial education
    • hands-on, enthusiastic sales professional with strong organizational skills
    • At least 5 years' relevant work experience in managing complex accounts in an international B2B environment (experience in aircraft components is preferable)
    • Personal seniority to counterpart with customers on several levels to advise and sell parts but also logistic concepts and services
    • Good command of spoken and written English and Chinese (including Mandarin)
    • Excellent PC skills on MS Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook etc)
    • Travel is required
    • Preferably, possess operational experience in all logistic and/or international sales functions
    • Less experience will be considered for the position of Inside Sales Executive / Account Executive
