Job Description

• Drive the build-up of a competence center for social compliance;
• Implement a strategy for capacity building for our factories;
• Improve the process of handling social compliance topics in our supply chain;
• Keep track on developments in relation to working regulations/changes in laws in our sourcing countries;
• Support the build-up of a “Supplier Assessment and Development” tool;
• Support the CSR team with daily work (majority related to BSCI);
• Train internal merchandising team on social compliance;
• Handle the monthly reporting in relation with social compliance;
• Potentially engage in further environmental projects;
  

Requirements

• University degree in the area of business administration, social compliance or equivalent. Candidates with lower education background but the right experience and capability will also be considered;
• Min. 3 years of experience in social compliance in China or overall in south-east Asia;
• Experience with social compliance standards such as BSCI, SA8000, ICTI, ET etc.;
• Extensive knowledge of BSCI requirements and Chinese labour legislation;
• Good knowledge of MS office, especially MS Excel (pivot tables);
• Independent, responsible work style as well as the ability to work in a team;
• Problem solving mind set with attention to detail;
• Spoken and written fluency in Mandarin and English;
• Good communication skills
