Responsibilities

• Assist Project Manager from time to time in cost planning, cost benefit analysis, tendering, valuation, change control, dispute resolution, claims management and cost estimation.
• Provide cash flow data to enable Project Manager to programme the resources adequately to meet contract commitments for submission of Client’s approval.
• Assess cost effects on variation with contractors.
• Prepares final account statement and summarize all involved cost charges and finalize the contract sum.
• Co-ordinate with internal departments, architects, consultants, contractors and client to ensure a smooth execution of the project.

Requirements

• Relevant QS academic background or equivalent qualification.
• Minimum 8 years working experience in quantity surveying.
• Knowledge of costs and prices of work, labour, materials and plant required.
• Command of both spoken and written Cantonese and English
